Mate if I had a bike to ride I would be goin to the rally aswell. Nah I was just gonna meet up with Y'all and hang out till ya left. Then it's back to my boring empty house to sit on my arse wishing I could ride.

    • go round to Quasi's and demand he gets the bbq going for brekkie
    • we just meet 30 mins later at 10, which means we leave the AB SP at 8.30 instead of 8
Okay 9.30 then , you can bear the brunt of the Auckland bikers for depriving them of 1/2 hour sleep .

    sheesh !!
Spare a thought for some of us (ok one of us) who has a trek just to get to the AB in Papakura - if I miss everyone at the AB I will try and catch you up at Hamilton or somewhere along the way

    LMFAO - me catch up

    Thanks for the offer Bug

The only prob with this scenario would be having to put my moggy into a cat hotel and that would add some 50 bucks to the weekend. I myself would prefer to get up when its still dark and have more cash in my pocket for food and orange juice <---- MD in training

Like I say will try and be there in time but if I dont then with a map I may be able to catch up taking more direct routes.

Yep. Although as I am carrying a pillion I was thinking of taking an easier route from Hamilton to Whakamaru, and then rejoin the group for the ride from Whakamaru to National Park. What is the road between Kihikihi and Whakamaru like - say compared to HW22?

We will be at the Papakura AB and head down to the meeting place in Hamilton anyhow. Then we'll make a call on the next part depending on the weather / pillon's comfort level.

Weather is still looking good for Saturday's trip down!

    6am Saturday Forecast

Though maybe a bit wet for the return!

yeah, I'll have a seat cover too. We're going down SH1 all the way to Hammy at the posted speeds. Anyone who wants to do their own thing and go an alternative route START A NEW THREAD and make sure you're at the rendezvous point on time, or make your own way there, cos this thread is going down #1. We've got a good day of riding ahead, so we'll just consentrate on getting there first, then we can go on rides when we get there
