~230ks is roughly the distance from Paps autobharararararn to the next 'scheduled' pitstop. THe BP at the end of the 22 is a 'saviour' for those who want to go in second gear pulling wheelies all the way cos they're bored..
After ~230ks, we stop for gas and food, i think..

So i am gonna need to stop at the BP then

when you leave paps, make sure you're aware of who's stopping (if not everyone) and who's carrying on. Then make a point of deciding if the people stopping are going to make up the pace, or just turn upwhen you get there.

for those worried about petol here's a rough distance guide

Papakura - The boulevard Hamilton 90km
Hamilton - Whakamaru 130km lunch & petrol
Whakamaru - National park 148km

Thanks for that. My bike only does about 180 to 190km before hitting reserve, so I'll be gassing up at Ngaruawahia BP too.

ah, ok.. must go have a quiet word with Dr Evil then. He's the one who came up with the figure and we should stick to something like that.. I even added on 15k as a margin..

well in which case, then could always actually get some distance out of it and fill in Hammy then. It's what, 'bout ~130ks or so down SH1 to hammy?
