Romantic Twin - based on a true story

It was a hot sunny springs evening 5pm Monday 19 October 2009. I was driving to my castle and pull up to a set of lights, Corner of New Winsor and Maioro Roads. The sun was baking the car it was getting hot i had to open the sun roof. As i sat there i heard the sound of an angel, i have heard this sound before. Could it be surely it can't be. As the sound grew louder i could see it. It was i couldn't believe it she looked so gorgeous and the way she purrs melted my heart, as she got closer my heart beat faster and ears were in love, as i saw her she was as good as she sounded she was a yellowish/green in colour. Her name was Suzuki TL1000S. She was ahead of me by now out of reach but i could hear her purring. The lights go green we move and hear sound is so great to the ear. We both go down New Winsor I saw her indicator flashing me as she turned right down Bollard Ave. I was sad a tear began to swell as i knew this was us parting ways. I bid her farewell and told her thank you for coming into my life briefly. I went on my way and carried on my evening.

I had a moment like that, someone said here ride this Ducati 900 with wide open pipe and a great tune job. First time I heard it I just about had a happy moment.

Frequently I ride through tunnels just to hear it. If it weren't a sin against nature I'd make it my wife. To me its like the two wheel version of Lara Bingle!

If you think a TL sounds nice you haven't listened to enough Ducatis.

This is my wee six hundy singing sweetly. Imagine what an air cooled 1000cc double spark desmodue engine would sound like with the pipes properly doctored.

Having owned both Ducatis and TLs imho the TL sounds better than any Duc bar the early 900SS,but then they sound better than anything,Bevel drive with Contis on the Summit road absolutly spine tingling.Fwiw once again just my opinion TLs sound there best with the original oval Two Bros cans on em,heard plenty with Carbon cans etc but not as good.

Even my SVS sounds pretty good with Two Bros can on it...even the neighbours like it (or so they say to my face...)
