    Grand Challenge 2009 - 4 of a Kind

    My report on blog here:

    Part 1 - http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/blog.php?b=1140

    Part 2 - http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/blog.php?b=1141

I love these rides so as usual it's a bit of a yarn and the blog bottoms out at 10K characters so I had to do two parts.

The best leg for me was fanging it to the Time check at Te Uku then on to Huntly.
The worst was thumping into the wind up the Taranaki coast to Spotswood.
After that, Sunday morning was a bit of social cruise.

"Big yarn". I read that as Big Yam, and was momentarily encouraged that at last you'd seen reason...

It was indeed good fun. The Shiver is now primed and ready for the C1K, although it is highly unlikely that "New Zealand's most customer focused and experienced importer of European motorcycles" will have done anything by then to remedy the onboard speedo issue...

    As always a worthy read.
    Well done.
Almost tempted to consider doing one of these.
