    Parallel pistons to memory.

Known problems are that if you don't maintain it instead of the screws loosening they get tighter. Also they've got fairing which don't make them ideal for a first bike (along with the slightly higher maintence costs due to the liquid cooling).

These bikes are very popular in the US and as a result, you can get lots of spares on ebay quite cheap. They have the same motor as the ZZR250 and seems to last. my nephew has a zzr250 that has over 60,000 ks on the clock and it still runs well.

do a search on ebay some time and use the words ninja 250. you'll be pleasantly surprised. there is even a forum dedictaed to them and they also race them in a 250 class.

My brother has one of these, used to be mine.
I think he's done over 60k on his, and it still goes....
He's got a workshop manual or at least the microfiche stuff if you need it.
