Is that your way of saying, "Please pay my entree too Mr Frosty" TS?

Thumbs up anyone got any pics?

Awesome day, my best track-day yet. Gave the RG500 a decent work out in some distinguished company in the clubmans class. I chased sparky-bills on the mighty 900 Duke and even held out johnboy for one session, although he was quick to point out "If there had of been more laps..." I've never heard that one before, besides, johnboy should be applauded for seriously chasing 19 year olds... HA!

Anyone know who was taking the pics on the hairpin?

Thanks to the organisers, helpers and competitors.

Did anyone get any footage of my collision?

BTW, the CBR is in fairly bad condition, doubt I'll get it up and going for round 2 with the limited funds I have, and I could've come first

Last track day I got 1 lap in before my rotor fell of.

This time I got 3 laps in! Things are improving.

Seized it big time at the end of the front straight in Pratice.
But then,, I knew that would happen. Just had no money to get it right.
So much for being a contender this year. :spudguita :disapint:

PS. Have the motor apart now. Starting to wonder if it was more a detonation problem again. Piston is cratered. Alloy splated everywhere.
The areas I sanded don't look any worse.
I did 100km of run in/testing on this motor before race day. Checking the spark plug frequently for signs of detonation. But,, Thats not race conditions is it.
Bit more 'Learn as you Go' needed I think.

I was down there as well. I was helping two buddies out. they were racing in the F1/superbike rounds. sean was on the silver R1 and got 8th, 7th and 6th in the races. Anthony got 7th, 6th and 4th in the same races. not bad for a 1998 ZX9R which i just finished rebuiding a week before the race! Anthony hadn't been on the ZX9R since 2003 when the engine blew up.

We're excited and looking forward to the second round. In the meantime, I'll be doing some work on the brakes and re-jetting the carbs since they were a little too rich on the weekend.

All in all, a bloody good shakedown weekend with promising results!

    .

It was a good day, and it even stayed dry, contrary to the weather forecast!

I saw heaps of KBers there, though didn't get to talk with all of you - Johnboy - I realised later that you smiled and said "hi" when I saw you on the dummy grid - sorry, I didn't realise it was you at the time.

Alarumba, haven't figured out who you are yet.

    Georgio, welcome to the site!!

I had to say i had a blast too! my black and silver beast ran well, but thought that id have a bit more staight line speed, alaramba that honda's got some bogie!!! shame you dropped her, sometimes its best to just hold back a little, thought u were running in first?

my rg has had time and money spent on her mojo, but i think that its my wieght that holdin me back, i 87kg anyone else in the class even over 80??
I have to say that the long cicut is just soo suited to the little bikes, i passed 3 guys on the MASSIVE sweeper on the outside!!
My biggest prob was groundin out both pegs and the exhuast on right handers all of them, dont mind pegs but by the second race i was through the weld on my pipe, meaning i had a good 6 inch power drainer hole. anyone have any tricks to save my pipe??

was proud to pull off a 5th 4th and 3rd.

well... i had some really good moments. and one really bad.
started the day qualifying on pole (wicked) only to crash on the last lap of the first race going for 2nd place .
but after abusing a VFR400 rear set and ramming it on the bike i got back on to race in the remaining races with a 6th and a 4th (respec).
however the bike will survive and after another bucket of money it will be mint again.

Was really good to catch up with TS, MR and other KB's. all in all an awesome day!!
yeah... sorry bro, i thought that ment miles 'n hour.

Hey, who saw my tyres last round? Did they look perfectly fine to you? I can't race cause my Dad is blaming the tyres for me coming off the bike twice, despite the fact that my first accident was me leaning to far and the footpeg snagged on the tarmac and the second accident, 2 people went down cause we slipped on cement dust.

Why won't my Dad damned listen to me
