Vic club is good. Just send a email saying you can't get to this next race day you paid for because of (insert good reason), and they will normally hold your payment over to the next round.

I plan to be there, still with a sad motor, but at least its running again and Not detonating now.

Nearly. We were putting it together and one of the bolts on the cover snaped. I was using the correct torque settings and all. I think the previous owner was a bit ham fisted and stressed the bolts. One of the machining gurus at work is making a real nice little guide so we can drill the old one out square.

Should be all go by tomorrow or Wedensday. but cutting it a bit fine I know.

Another point: the VMCC AGM is tomorrow. So better get down to the club rooms at 7.30pm sharp. Check VMCC website for more details www.vicclub.co.nz

    Cheers.

Its pretty certain now. I'm not able to make it. We've been stuffed around by this crankcase getting fixed, we just can't bleed the brakes, the front tyre is stuffed despite only having like 2000ks on it, and I still wouldn't of had a fairing anyway. Ideally, if we had the crankcase, we could've sent it to the shop this week and get it sorted. Even then, we don't have the money for the tyre.

At least this way, I won't wreck the bike further and can get it ready for getting my restricted at the beginning of next month. It's a damned shame as I would've had a chance at the podium, and if I kept upright maybe even first. Next year I guess

Hopefully might still go up on the day with a few friends to watch for a while anyway

what??!!? between the beer fridge and your seat?

all good to go. paid up for this weekend, no dramas. talked to the race sec and he said its ok, as long as you have already signed the indemnity.

there is a sneaky rumor that they maybe (a big maybe) putting up a bank a/c number for us to electronically transfer funds to them.

will be good to see everyone again... cant wait.

I've rebuilt the front end of the ZX9, rebuilt the brake master cylinder and fitted new brake lines and treated the bike to a new set of new tyres.

Even did an oil and filter change

We looking forward to some good results and anthony is raring to go. he better do well after all the work i've put in on the bike!

Can't wait to get there, although it is a long drive.

    c u guys there
