Hi all, another new member (evotime)

Hi everyone, I figured I should say hello since I have been reading kiwibiker for a while now.

My name is Dave, I haven't owned a bike yet, but always wanted one and I think I've grown up enough to trust myself now.

So being a car mechanic I've decided to look for a broken 250 sport to fix and learn on.

So anyway thanks for the great site.

Welcome aboard. Lots of free advice here, just make the decision on what to choose, and don't get tangled up in the heat of a flame war.

thanks guys it's a pretty informative site, great for a newbie.

I'm quite excited now my next door neighbour told me there's a dispensation I maybe able to get being 6'5" and 116kg I have my fingers crossed!

When I sit on a 250 I feel like Yogi bear on a bicycle

Welcome mate. Working on bikes is a nice change from cars - you will have fun with this.

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."
