    Thinking about it....

    On the plus side
-it sounds like a mean ride
    - I get to meet some more KB peeps

    On the negative side
    - I'd have to getup at 0630 to be there on time, I don't even get up that early on weekdays.
    - I really should be boxing my stuff to move house

    Tough choices to be made.

Although the Loop will be busy with holidaymakers this weekend, it will be a sight better than the following Saturday (31st) and I'd advise all bikers to stay off the Peninsula that day. It's the K2 cycle challenge which means that the Loop will be chokka with hundreds of cyclists.
Cheers for the heads-up! Nothing more worse than campervans and boat trailers than a pack of 'I own the road' cyclists who 'margarine' all over the road and then cry out when they have a close call with other road users.

Haha - no - The Bandit isn't the problem.
The dog has to have a run in the morning.
Badly behaved dogs are usually (but not always) those that aren't exercised properly.
It's good because ever since I got the dog it's forced me to exercise everyday.
Currently we do between 7 - 10kms of running per day

Still - if the weather looks mint I could be there

EatorBeEaten and I will be along, we're both rockin 250's so will probably just pootle along at our own pace so probably won't see much of the rest of the group after the start apart from at stops. We're both completely comfortable with open road, but defintely not Rossi's.

    See you in the morning

A bit off topic for a sec -

I assume you have a Dalmation? I some cases, yes but I think is comes down to human-dog relations and how well trained your dog is. If they are an energetic type dog (Collie etc) then regular exercise does help curb bad doggie habits. We have started to take our Black Lab to Flygility (Flyball and Agility mixed up) and keen to do Agility with her, it's an awesome way to bond with your dog and exercise yourself and them!

Did you happen to get over to the Wag 'n Walk in Milford last weekend? We won first prize for best dog trick!

Sweet as! It would be nice to have a mix of bikes, nothing wrong with 250cc - we have all been there at some stage (except those real old farts who got the one-off licence decades ago )

The main thing is that anyone intending to come along must realise that you need to be experienced enough to contend with 'mad holiday traffic' and a road that can be sneaky / tricky in some places. The coro loop ain't no morning commute.

As the norm, I will be giving a pre-ride briefing explaining where and what will be happening. So if anyone wants to go faster / slower than everyone else we can meet up at pre-determined places - so no need to panic about getting lost / trying to keep up with mob.

It's good to see you have the right attitude regarding riding at your own pace.
