Look, Les (Ixion on KiwiBiker) is very smart, but you need to realise what it's like being on the spot and pressed for time in an interview like that. I think he did very well, given the limited time he had.
Trouble with TV programs like that is that they deal in soundbites and sensationalism, not getting into the nitty-gritty of an issue.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I think he did a great job - he certainly did a better go of it than the ACC GM. It doesn't matter how many people double check the equation... $77 x 3.2 million (or whatever the figure is) is still in excess of $200M.

Good to see you're out there, working hard and devoting your spare time towards the betterment of motorcycling.

Oh wait, you're just bitching on the internet about people who ARE doing that.

Get the fuck off my internet.

Agreed. Les (Ixion) is a very intelligent man and capable of presenting strong arguments. The trouble is TV current affairs is ankle deep so proper answers get chopped.

Did not see it. But he's standing up and being counted. Good enough for me.

    Red bling given.

You try and fairly represent a nationwide community on national tv in a sub ten minute time frame.

Once you've done that then maybe, just maybe, people will give a shit about your baseless little whinge.

    Hmmmmmm.....

I think what he's trying to say is out of thousands of bikers was he the best REP? Taking into account perception is very important.

He didn't put him down, of course we know he's doing a lot of work on his own free time.

Good work Ix, keep it up.

I also don't think he's doing us any favours as a frontman.

Bronz need to find a public figurehead more comfortable with the role.

I think he did a better job presenting the argument than the ACC idiot. The ACC idiot came off a smarmy and the biker dude came off as quiet considered.
