While the post you responded to was a cheap poke at AllanB's Honda-enthusiasm I have to applaud your choice, no matter how staged it may be, in regards to both props, attire and attitude.

Most non-bikers I have talked to about this can easily see how unfair the proposed levy increases are. The public at large appears to be on our side in this, as far as I can tell.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

I have met several. Thanks to "knob" bikers of the modern day - we are not well liked by all. Kiwibiker and said other associations (unfortunately) do not help this situation - purely through cause that we take all as they come.

People think I am a bit harsh for telling idiots to buck up their ideas and take a bit of responsibility - however I obviously have not been vigilant enough, as we are now seeing the downfall of this.

Saw a new knob lately a mission bay, ducati monster, not a clue, and a german style helm. Makes you just want to cut fuel lines.

Thanks to ACC now I have a reason not to like all those on 2 wheels. Thanks for you not taking your own responsibility we all get punished.

The bit the fucks me off more... is that ACC made more than enough money, and is not actually going broke... fuck its the only government department making a profit...

Average joe blogs believe it is going broke... and pisses me off they way Nick Smith says increased costs... there haven't been any

4.5b turnover, 1.7 in claims (and steady at that for a couple of years), 1b banked and has 11b in the bank. All it is the projected returns weren't enough to put more in the bank to move to the fully funded... at present we are part funded and part pay as you go

If gooberment aren't woried about the 2014 fully funded cut off, then it can easily be no changes and status quo as we go...

The increases are only for the short fall of the returns to bank... just as any business knows that sometimes you don't have the returns as you want, but you don't just increase you prices...

I personally don't care if it takes another 20 years to become fully funded

Fuck'n spot on. I loved the cardigan touch on Close Up - I was laughing so much I had to watch it again to hear the words and see the picture without tears!
If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!

To be honest I couldn't really concentrate on ACC's arguments because their spokesman's eyebrows sucked all light and matter into a singularity and imploded the universe.

    Distracting.

Interesting. I thought he was wrong when he said there were three million cars and trucks in NZ, but the statistic was correct.
