Interesting read indeed. I figured something like this would be coming when the new board was voted in. It wasa no secret that JT was opposed to the current CEOs management and handling of things. Seems to me that someone's shitting themselves and gone got their few friends left to add weight to their issues.

I don't think it's going to work and I expect we'll see a change in CEo fairly soon.

Do we actually need a CEO anyway?

Unless you are getting a viable amount of productivity in return for the (most likely near 6 figure) salary, then I guess you answer is no.

But lets face it, the CEO must do something and who would be doing the work that is currently done by the CEO if the position was terminated?

I have been asking MNZ and Jim Tuckerman for 4 months now, for the statistics of televion hits of the road racing scene televised last year to complete a sponsorship proposal proffesionally

NO ONE CAN AWNSER ME, Both Parties have very big issue's, and if they cannot supply this info, what the heck can they do for us in racing that is of any use gain value

I pushed hard for Jim T to get in, but the soup has stayed the same colour so far

Motorcycle racing is one of, if not the coolest, activities on the planet.

How the hell can you fu*k it up for chrissakes. Rubbish collection companies are run 500 times better! Imagine if your role was administering motorcycle racing!

I note they use words like "governance" and "no confidence" like they are some sort of professional organisation. What a joke.

The whole lot need their heads looking at.

    How sad for our sport.

    Nothing else to say really.

Due to my post in this thread yesterday, I have recieved an A4 page letter via email from a certain party, Telling me they are dissapointed with me! ( O DEAR) it must have taken a while to write!

This letter was a waste of time, and totally of subject, it went on and on and on about the politics of the fight that is going on! I do not give a f about the in house fight, you so called professional buisness people are having, all it is doing once again, is spend ( OUR) money badly, nor do I give a F about how much personell money might be being lost for some, you people wanted the job, Now just do it!

This is not personeel at any one, it is about OUR SPORT and how you all miss manage it!

My first post in this thread, was to show how the 2 parties cannot work together, nothing else was meant by it!

Is that a "heelin coo" or a coup d'etat ?

More people raced in the VMCC winter series than total votes in the MNZ elections, we are our own worst enemy

And I kept wondering aloud where are the hierarchy from that juggernaut to witness it???? It also proves that its not so much about machine specification.

By the time the nationals come around it will look like we are in the grip of a recession again.

One opinion might be that the sport which is essentially still "amature" here in NZ (not all riders are fulltime and paid) is advised ,organised and administered by professionals who primarilly look at the sport as a profit making opportunity (or that if it isn't it should be).

This is not directed at MNZ either and its just the way the western world has been moving. User pays. Profits before people etc. If you buy into it and do well all good.

The reason for the VICs success is its more about riders getting out and having a go! And the club seems to want to cater for as many diffent levels a possible and give everyone a fair go. Its good to see serious racers investing heavilly in the sport and doing really well but its also great to see people out there on what they brung having a blast enjoying the sport just a much and in alot of cases more.

I'll let you and Bob get back to discussing manlove now Scrivy!

The letter from the patron & life members convienently ignores a couple of other conflicts of interest that are going on too.
One senior steward ( & probably life member) uses his MNZ badge to gain access to take photographs for a magazine, to the point where he will abuse the organisers own hired photographer, order him out of the way & wave his high ranking MNZ authority badge about threateningly to get what he wants. I witnessed it myself at the BADD 3 hour & was suitably disgusted.
F.F.S Does it really matter who imports Ohlins suspension & who is who's son in law?
