Anyone know how to do this on a ZXR250c.

but mini? do you have a NC30 laying around? if so you lucky devil!

Alarumba, not really much point I think it will struggle to 200, mine manages to get 190 on the speedo came in at 193 on the dyno, dont know - love to try it unrestricted as its still pretty much on the 33bhp limit :/ but I know there is more lerking in there.

I think its the ignition timer or sumin, I dont think I'd bother trying to figure it out.

I did this on KK's race bike but can't quite remember how, Craft's disease, (can't remember f*&ckin thing). Vaguely recall needing some resistors, round 1/4 watt & chopping shit loads of wires. As I say, this was for his race bike. Weren't to many wires left.
It is better to have ridden & crashed than never to have ridden at all

No point on doing it to the CBR/ZXR as it wont really go above 190kmh...

So a question, if mine does 190+ on the road does that mean its de-restricted?

Cool thanks for that, did yours manage to pull rather strong till then, mine is at about 13k when it hits the 190(or 195) speedo bit and It wont go up anymore, seems like a waste of RPM..

if its doing 195kmh it wont have a restrictor... restrictors are set at 180kmh or 190kmh...

You probably reached the peak of the power band....

Go to the jdm forums, there is info there. It requires taking the clocks apart - just moves the 180kph limit to 220kph. Only usefull for the tracks that have very long straights which is why I never bothered.

I was told the restricter on CBRs (might be the same for others) was only in 6th at the red line.. Which you won't get anywhere near unless you have the wind behind you, sorry..
My CBR used to run out of puff at 185kph down the back of Puke, and that was around 14 grand or so, can't clearly remember. Have you hit the restricter at all?

The NC35 has a small copper contact that moves around with the speedo needle, take the clocks apart and bend it away from the other contact.... bingo no restriction, do not know if NC30 is the same, sorry
    Because I can......................

they are the same on both NC35 and 30... have now done, hmm... 4x 30's and 2x 35s... basioc procedure.. almost cant go wrong.

And yep the other way (to bending the brass tab away) if u want to race and disconnect speedo all together is a 1K5-2K resistor completeing the organge/black wire circuit going into rear of Speedo.... Ahjahah and yes - Oldfart taught me this then forgot himself hey!

Try and source a 'black box'.

I brought mine for about $30. Plugs into the CDI unit.
