    Hi from Scotland (cxp)

    Hi from Scotland.

Just joined and though I would say Hi

I am a jock, currently living in Scotland, but I did marry a Kiwi (for my sins)

I was prompted to sign up to kiwibikers, by some guys that have moved to NZ from Aberdeen.

We were last I NZ last year for a month, with all our kids for the first time.

We hired a camper, mainly for the kids to use as a base, as most of the time there was space to sleep in the homes of our friends or family....but the kids preferred to sleep in the camper.

In Scotland I take the bike to work every day, over 100 K’s per day, all weathers including the snow.
Not being on a bike for a month was terrible...almost had the shakes

We are starting to plan our next trip to NZ, we will still hire a camper, but I am starting to look into getting a small trail bike as well.

You all ride well, and enjoy !

Hey there - we hired a camper and did the north island a while back. Next to a bike it's the best way to see what's out there (here) I reckon...
