    Hello.

I married a New Zealander and moved out here. She got pretty opinionated about where we were going to raise children.

    Whereabouts in Scotland are you?
In space, no one can smell your fart.

Almost every area has its local forum, and just about every bike type has a forum as well...just too many to keep track of.

My local site I use is good

Good to see that kiwibiker keeps all bikers together, from all makes / styles of bikes

    I know

A few years ago I had a 4x4 and went up some of the valleys in the South Island.

We would go past the “end of public road” signs for a few clicks.

Had the rental Landcruser in mid air going up one of the river beds at speed...what a laugh

Even took the mother-in-law to some of the places she trekked from in her youth...a long long time ago!

My wife’s father was an artist, and would go out mustering for some ranches, I believe that he would do some of the cooking in-between the sketching, then do the paintings later.

I believe that many ranches have work by him...Morris Buckland
He died over twenty years ago
    Anyone know of his work?

You are on, some bike trail next time I am in NZ for me

In 2008, the median UK wage was 11.87 pounds (about $26). The median Kiwi was $18.75. Sounds good until you consider the cost of living over there. The average worker is WAAAAY better off here.

UK pounds wage = kiwi dollars wage = myth
