    Info/Manual/Advice for '87 Honda VTZ 250

    Gidday all,
Bit of a tall order here, but I'm looking for any type or manual or documentation for an '87 Honda VTZ 250. I understand from Googling that this is a bit of a one-off unfortunately, so it's probably going to be impossible to source a manual for it. Apparently it's a bit different to the year prior and year following, it's the 43HP/144kg model.

The best source of info I've got is this page here.
    Official Honda Japan - '87 VTZ 250

If anyone's got ANY info on this bike I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm looking at getting some preventative engine work done on it, so a manual would really help. Alternatively, if you've done work on one of these before please comment of the difficulty and availability of parts (be gentle!)

    Engine no: MC15E-1023080

Think I saw that one advertised about a month ago on tardme? Good buy if I remember rightly.

Anyway, to topic, no. You won't find a manual, if one was ever made, it's not going to be in English.

The best I have is a couple of scanned manuals, one for the VT250F/F-II and one for the VT250 Spada. As you will know, the VTZ is basically smack dab in between the two and has similarities with both (closer to Spada).

I'd be happy to email you those if you let me know where, they are just jpeg images of each page.

The other resource I have found occasionally useful is
    http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-vtr250-in...135/partslist/
which is an online version of the fiche for the 250 "Interceptor" which is also quite similar and was sold in the US market.

Is there anything in particular you're wanting to find out?

I have just picked up my first bike, a 87 Honda VTZ250. Are you able to send me a copy of those scanned manuals if you still have them?
