    Biggles Racing WEBSITE

Hey people, I just thought I would post up a note that I have now got a website. I'm going to keep this updated and all my race reports and photos will be going on there.

    www.bigglesracing.co.nz

I also have a 'products' section with a catalogue that you can browse through and see some cool specials from my sponsors. If you have any questions on any of these just email me on marcus@bigglesracing.co.nz and I'll endeavour to answer them as I can.

    Any constructive feedback is welcome

    Cheers
    Biggles

Not a fan! But i guess it is pretty good since it was made for free. I'm sure someone around here can make something better though.

The flash runs a bit slow for me which is a pain in the ass.

I do like following your progress though so i love the idea of you having a site

Not so keen on the flash but it's ok.

    But the sound effects! Argh!

On ya for getting something up though.

That was me... I just hate all websites that use sound for mouse-overs and clicks. Really annoying when you have headphones on up loud or even worse when you're surfing the net at work with the speakers on and some random noise happens.

The content is great though. It's cool be able to find out more info and know when you're racing etc. Great stuff for your fanbase and your sponsors.

BTW the products page doesn't seem to work. I'm using IE8 so might just be that.

I say good on ya for getting off your arse and doing what everyone who is wanting to race should do. Nice work
Wouldn't be racing if it wasn't for:MotoMart, Pirelli, EBC Brakes, Ripecoffee.co.nz, Slotmedia.co.nz, Totalbodyshop.co.nz and Wurth

I just got a "welcome" , loading, X-wix.com and a wee blue bar that went across about 50 times. I gave up after about 5 minutes.

Do it at wordpress.com or summit mate...it's much easier & nicer than flash.

    Really
I've been back a few times and it seems to be working fine. Is anyone else having this problem?

Well you asked for constructive criticism.

    It doesnie like Google Chrome.
It's as slow as a wet week, even on broadband....
    It isn't search engine friendly.

I got bored of the fancy effects and slowness after 2 pages. I'd give it an 'D'. Try again

Sorry Biggles, I'm another person who would like to read the info rather than wait for the picture.

Loading screen took just on 45 seconds. Next page was complete after 35 seconds. And, um, I got bored and left... Yes, I'm on 10Mb broadband.

IMHO Flash is great when you have nothing to say. I'm sure you have plenty to say...

hahaha...what gives you that idea skunk!?! lol

fair points people and yes I do appreciate your constructive criticisim...I'm just puzzled why some people have to wait for ages on it and others don't thats all. Its an ongoing project so changes will be made in due course.
