This is a cheap big bore sports tourer that is set up and ready to do some miles over summer, has a few marks but nothing unsightly. Just get on and ride! A few miles on the clock, but plenty of life left in the old girl yet, these motors are bullet proof.

$4000 or near offer. No trades.

Will post up some better pics shortly. Note mileage may change due to nice weather!!

And, importantly, this is an Aussie (E 24) spec bike... it fuels VERY nicely, and E 24 bikes have more lift (about 1.2mm) on the cams, too. They perform considerably better than the Canadian/US spec ones

    This bike goes bloody well!

Well, it's about 6 weeks or so until the new toy turns up, so it'll get a bit of use. Figured someone might want to get a cheap big bore tourer for summer, so I though I might as well put it up for sale - otherwise it'll get traded.

Thanks mate, Pussy reckons it's worth more - but I got it cheap as a bit of a tidy-up project and something to keep the miles down on the CBX, had fun doing that plus clocked up about 10,000 trouble free km's between last summer and now. So I'm really just covering my costs and looking for some extra cash towards the new(er) bike.
It certainly has been an eye opener for me and a few others, that you don't actually need to spend a fortune to have a fun, reliable bike. And as you say, it's still capable of embarrassing the odd person on a later model whizz bang bike
It's funny too, because when I got it I wasn't even looking for an RF and hadn't really had much to do with them before. They certainly are an under rated bike.

Err...yeah, but lets not get into the rider rating thing what with the whole ACC bollocks going on at present...but I hear what you're saying....

Just scored an '05 Ducati 1000SS Senna with very low km's, so I need the room in the shed!

Pussy does indeed reckon it's worth more!
It is very quiet mechanically, and in real terms has about $3ks worth of suspension alone on it.
    It's a good bike, folks
