    Passed through Oamers last weekend and saw all then old places we used to go to ... including Jumbos although I think it was called something else back then. Noticed that the Turret Takeaway is still called the Turret. (Mrs Oakie used to work there when she was about 17 or so). The Pie Cart! I was too scared to go there because all the tough guys went there ... although I did have one feed there one night. And yeah, Colin Clynes ... run by Andy Bolwell now and I'm pretty sure Colin did pass away quite a few years ago. Ahh, the memories. Wasn't a bad place for a young fella to go through his teenage years.

    Just seen this thread and must show our younger son as he developed Tuimato sauce! He's the Senior Food Technologist at Delmaine Foods who actually make it. We get all sorts of cool experimental stuff to pass an opinion on
