to hard to vote, if you want to sell go OEM rebuild
if you make a fighter it has to be a good end product or its not worth it
customs are well cool though if they are nicely done

    Yup.....
I am the first to vote for Standard OEM Rebuild.....

I guess it is me, but I prefer to see bikes as they came out of the factory, and think they never look when somebody tries to do their own thing....

I guess it is those cr@p jobs that have put me off.....

All that said, I have seen a few classics that have new clothes and modern paint schemes that look "the dogs bollocks" (that is excellent, or words to that effect, in case you didn't know).

Like i said .. the guy who is rebuilding the TA is a very good painter and a biker himself..( he was actually behind me when i stacked it .. ) im not into gaudy disco paint but im leaning towards ' different'

Forks - find some on ebay, the dollar is good right now - get them drop shipped to a friend of mine and I'll bring 'em home for you next time I'm up there?

Might be able to get a few plastic bits too...

    What year is it?

Oh, Sarge! I'm SO disappointed in you.
I thought you were some roughty-toughty hard-ass bastidge, and here you are trying to design a bike's new paint job by committee.
    For shame, Sir!
Unless... you're just yanking the collective KB chain, and you have summat else in mind, entirely different to any of the options.

FWIW, if I was voting, I'd go for the "no holds barred" option.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Conditionally go with the first option.

If it's a long term keeper then do the spooky, otherwise OEM for resale reasons

Go crazy spooky on it, but maybe more 'show bike' orientated? Best of both worlds?
