try down shifting while merging on the motorway
locked up the rear wheel and got a tad scared
I was ment to go the other way and when the bike is reving to 16-17000 rpm and you smack it into first

all is good thow the road bike is now race pattern (makes it go faster now)

Hi Henk. How much difference did the muffler mod make? Mine is still standard and I'm thinking about making it less restrictive or maybe looking at other muffler options?

Not sure that it made a lot of difference power wise. I did it mainly to get the pipe out of the way when I crash. Take minefor a spin on the weekend (if it's rideable, been taking things away again) and tell me what you think.

I took my muffler off again and cut it open. I got a long steel rod and a sledge hammer and bashed out the insides of the muffler. I then turned it into a straight through muffler with pink batts as the packing. Far less restrictive and noisier so it should go a liiittle bit better.

Mint! It sounds really nice now. Sounds grunty like everyone else's buckets. The good thing is it's not too noisy so it's not really offensive wherever you go (except quite suburban neighbourhoods haha). As far as performance goes.... who knows. I am sure it has helped a wee bit for sure, but more importantly it sounds cool, looks cool, and wont get destroyed when I crash on the right-hand-side.
