Those Teknic pants remained dry on Sunday, as did my Oxtar boots.

Last rally with the really heavy rain, the pants leaked into my crotch. I didn't have the boots then so I can't comment.

My (relatively cheap) R-Jays sure got a soak testing coming out of National Park after the rally and stood up ok. Like Jim2 mentioned - thought I had a leak around thighs but I checked it at Oakune petrol stop - all dry - it was just the cold perhaps from the tank or maybe the airflow around the tank. The Pants had the liner in (for the first time since I bought them) because they are normally too warm. At those sort of temps (3deg+windchill)I will have to get some thermal undies for next time. I guess warmth depends on the number of layers you wear under your waterproof suit.
Experience......something you get just after you needed it

He he, it's only been used twice

I was going to include a photo to show the Brutale's current state but the digital camera is away in ChCh. I could use the Handycam, video the bike, play it back on the DVD recorder and burn it to a DVD. Put the DVD in my PC and take a frame.... But it all sounded a bit like hard work.
