Remember you are doing the right thing. It's tough, yeah, but this IS what you want. It's all going in the right direction, you just have to let a few days go by, and magically it will get better and better.
Drink lots of water and take lots of quality breaks where you can put your brain in neutral for a while and gaze at the ground, sky, water, rocks etc.
It's a bit tough and it feels like forever, but it isn't, and looking back it will seem like no time at all.
Get some support if you can.. if someone can bring you a cuppa and a favourite snack and ask "whats up?" and only listen.. this helped a lot for me. Some days its all we need anyway.

"I am a licenced motorcycle instructor, I agree with dangerousbastard, no point in repeating what he said."
"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
"Wow, Great advise there DB."

Well done.
I cant last one friggin day let alone 2 weeks
Wish I never started the dam things
That's good to hear, my doc wouldn't give en to me, he reckoned they were a waste of time but I've heard quite a few people give em the thumbs up.
As a serial giver upper, I know how hard it can be Rodney007, however, I went to a hypnotist a few months back for some help. As it turns out I never got hypnotized, just counseled as to the route cause of my addiction.
Sounds naff eh but I tell you what it's been circa three months and counting and I've never found quitting easier, no mood swings no cravings and my pocket seems to have money in it all the time.
Onya for giving it a go.
Oh bugger
Keep your eye on the prize Rodney
Rick.
You will, but it does take time. I smoked for 10 years or so, 40/day, gave up 20 years ago and have not had one since.
That's the truth - you have to be really definite that you are no longer a smoker. Giving up has to really change you - it's not temporary. Being a smoker is not who you are.
Good luck. You can do this. Exercise also helps, btw.

no one likes a quitter.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
Tobacco is not addictive. Just don't smoke, it's not that hard.
I did that very same thing 20 years (my first born is now 20) I put a half packet of smokes on top of the firdge the day she was born and that was it. Cold turkey is for real men!...
It lasted 6 years
Im not a big smoker, 20 will last a day and a half. No smoking in the house, no smoking in the car.
There was a talk on Kiwibiker sometime ago and I recall someone saying "When feeling like having a cigarrette, wank."
If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
Try everything Rodney. The patches worked for me too! All 3 times I gave up! But once you have gotten over the cravings you need to find something else as a replacement/reward for giving up. This is where all the money you are saving comes in. $10 a day for a year is a lot of dosh if you look at it that way, find an expensive hobby! Or treat yourself to an overseas holiday! Good luck with it too!

It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)
