As Spies said himself...they're the best racers in the world. That's why I've always preferred watching it to superbikes. To me...and I know it's only my opinion...but man...there just seems to be something so sick and fast about those fuckers.

I've been to lots of superbike meetings...but I've never been in awe. You go to a GP...and feel VERY inadequate as a rider.

Not quite true. Capirossi won back to back races in '05 and scored 3 pole positions in a row at one stage. He was leading the World Championship after 6 rounds in '06 until that massive first corner crash with Gibernau at Catalunya put him in hospital. He lost too many valuable points while trying to battle on through injury but it was a case of "what might have been".

That was the 990: different bike. The 800s were introduced in 2007, the year Stoner won the championship.

    MotoGP politics?

Read: "Under Suppo's management Ducati signed Casey Stoner and won the 2007 world championship - although Italian media sources have claimed for months that tensions between Stoner and Suppo were becoming unmanageable."

Maybe it was Suppo or Stoner gone at the first opportunity?
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Rossi: It's me or Lorenzo at Yamaha in 2011!

During an interview with the BBC, Valentino Rossi warned that Yamaha must choose between keeping him or team-mate Jorge Lorenzo for the 2011 MotoGP season.

"Yamaha have to decide between me and Jorge for 2011," he said. "I have a great option to join Ducati."

Lorenzo has been Rossi's closest rival this year, only losing the title to the nine time world champion at the penultimate round of the season.

Rossi has repeatedly stated his displeasure at developing a bike that will also benefit his closest championship rival. 2009 marks the first time that Rossi's team-mate has finished second in the championship.

Both Rossi and Lorenzo will remain at Fiat Yamaha next season.

Rossi and his brilliant mind fuck games continue. This is all about that.
Watch him target Stoner and Lorenzo in different and cunning ways before and during 2010 season.
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

I'd rather see Yamaha say "Sure then...we'll let Lorenzo go...meet your new team mate...Casey Stoner"

I know he's "The Doctor", but FFS, who in this world is actually arrogant enough to say to their employer "Get rid of that guy, he's number two in the world and I don't wanna be on his team." (Other than Crasher of course....)

I hope Rossi DOES go to Ducati. Stoner will wipe the floor with him on the Ducati and Mr Spies will arse fuck him all over the track riding in the Fiat Yamaha team.

It may not be arrogance depends if he is contributing more than 70% to the development of the bike and Lorenzo doing very little but riding in on his coat tails, then he has a case. Only the team knows though. I guess we will find out sometime before 2011? LOL!!

I actually thought he came across really well in that interview in the BBC broadcaster. Not big headed at all, I like him, a true champion, thought she did a great job over the whole show to. Never downloaded the BBC torrent before but I will next time.

I see your not a Rossi fan LOL! I'd like to see him go to Suzuki (or someone) and let him bring another challenger into the mix at the top! Be bloody good if Aprilia entered an 800 V4 or Kawasaki came up. Ah well that's not gonna happen. What ever happens no one can take the 9 world titles off him!

BTW: I like Stoner but he couldn't have fucked up much bigger than throwing it down the track on the warmup! LOL!! Then to post the fastest times in testing. His team sure have been really good to him over this season!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Hasn't it been proposed to go back to 1000cc in 2011?

Hard to decide between Stoner and Bautista for the fuck up of the year.
One bins it on the warm up lap, and one bins it after the finish.

I guess a points decision to Bautista, he totalled his bike.
