    urgent decision to make

im torn between getting the 2004 cbr600rr and the suzuki 600 k4.Both are the same price and similiar mileage(arnd 3-4000 k's)............not sure which one would be a safer bet in terms of resale value and general value for money......am not sure how long ill keep the bike as i mite go overseas in a year or so...so the resale value is quite imp for me.....also the CBR seems to sound much better with the micron exhaust. How would you compare the ordinary cbr exhaust with the K4????
    cheers.................
if anyone has any of the above for sale.........cbr-2003,2004 or a sixxer-2004,2005 let me know as well................cheers............

Well some people will tell you to get the CBR. Disregard what they say - they're not right in the head. Go for the Gixxer!

I'd definitely say go the Honda if resale is that important. Suzuki have a habit of discounting their new bikes which obviously has the flow on effect of pushing down prices in the second hand market.

then again I read from reviews the cbr600's from 02 to 04 haven't been that outstanding against other 600's. where as the Gixxer K4 was kick ass from the start. so that might also affect your resell value.

then again the 05 cbr600 is quite good i hear.

Bike resale is generally shit for anything over 250cc.

Ride them and choose your self, dont submit your self to biased opiniouns (not saying any of the above are) but the only choice that you can be happy with is the one you make yourself.

There are few people with the exquisite taste and fine discernment to buy a Buell. It's something you evolve to.

That won't have an effect for the resale value in NZ.

Suzukis always drop in value lots cause their newer models drop in price quicker because of the way Suzuki Markets it's bikes. Whitetrash will tell you more about it if you want to know.

No mater what, Hondas have always held their value for much longer than other Jappa brands.

IMO, The CBR will sell for more than the Suzuki, in a years time. But then again, who can *really* say what will happen in the future.

Meh, from what I've heard, they're all too close to worry about. Just go for whatever you like the look/sound of, I suppose.

However, in my infinite wisdom, I have to say that the GSXR is bloody sexy

Although I have a CBR600RR poster on my wall...
