I had an almost identical approach when advertising the Blackbird through Trade Me. It was supposedly from an offshore oil platform near Australia. Had read about these scams before so simply reported it to the TradeMe people. Dead easy to spot - crap English and no real knowledge about the product being sold.

    Scammer.

    Hey guys,
I got an email last night from this Brelia Moore offering $200 more than what I want for my bike so I replied saying yes it was available and gave some more details about the bike.
I found this a little suspicious so googled Brelia Moore and found this thread.
Ive emailed back with some harsh words and a warning.

Hope nobody gets sucked in by this scam.

    Question Brelia More scam

Just Had exactly the same scam.Had a Car on T&E and got an email $100 more than asking price used exactly the same tex must just past and copy.
Thought it strange but thought play the game as it could well of been bought to go to the UK etc.Played the game right through to doing the money order on paypowl 10 mins later I get an email back from Brelia saying the $12750 had been deposited plus and additional $750 for the agent in the UK.I thought bloody hell its genuine.Heres the catch I had to send the $750 through a credit union account before my money would be relieced into my paypowl acc. This is via paypowl. What gets me is Paypowl let them do this.I returned an email to here saying is the car going to the UK.I get one back no Hamilton.I then send one saying Ill drive it down just transfer car price.
    Game over havnt heard boo.Unbelievable.

It's definitely a scam as I saw a similar post on an Australian forum I belong to where the person was selling a car and was offered more through Pay Pal and the person buying it said they were an oceanographer or something!

    Tell them to get lost!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
