Suzuki SMX warning light (50 cc 2 stroke)

The labels on the warning lights on my Suzuki SMX haven't been there since I purchased the bike. It's a 50 cc 2 stroke, I've just found out that one of the lights that lights up is the oil light.

It is only on while the bike is in neutral, then switches off once the bike is in gear.

Is this anything to be worried about?

If anyone has seen a user manual for one of these it would be much appreciated!

    Cheers!

check its not wired to the neutral sensor. Just make a metal contact across the neutral sensor and see if it lights up
