Request to move Scooters to Motorcycle Subtypes

Jess has highlighted a very real bit of typical scooter snobbery by those who think we are a waste of space (just overstating for effect here)... soooo pls go and lend your support to our scooter section being moved into "Motorcycle Subtypes" from where we are in "off topic". Hey there, I am sorry you are feeling left out. I agree you guys need a valid place on kiwibiker. My advice is to PM any of the Orange Mods. By Orange I mean their names are in Orange on the forum. You may also like to PM Mental Trousers (his name is in red, for he is our 2 IC) and ask the question. Good luck with your quest to find a home on here. Want me to go bat for you?

Have you asked the question of the powers that be? Really, ask and see what happens. I am not going to hit anyone for six, but if you think there should be a seperate sub forum for scooters (and I dont personally see why not) then ask for one to be created. I dont ride a scooter, but dont see why you should not have a place in here.

Right doing it now, and sorry but it just seems so natural for someone called mom to tuck you in. Jeez and going to bed spanked, now that is so 70's.

Having been on more scooter rallies than I care to remember in the late 80s and early 90s, it's not the bikers that are the dirty ones.

I have a scooter as well. A real one. With no asian parts.

Hi

Am just wondering if there is any reason that might stop Scooter's from being moved to "Motorcycle Subtypes". We are a type of Motorcycle, along with Pocket bikes, dirtbikes and roadbikes, so can we please be moved.

All the teasing comments about having small wheels, really does hurt, and being moved to fit in with others may mean a whole new lease of life. I know my old NZeta is more valuable than... well a GN250 for example, and even that gets called a real motorbike somehow.
