    BRM Pacific Series 1

Had a blast awesum weather, lots to work on, it was my first time in formula 1 and 2. Thought id enter both an just see how it goes, at this point i'll say im not very good at race reports just so ya know ......

Superbike qualifing : 19th on the grid with 1'19"
Supersport qualifing : 18th on the grid with 1'18"

    Superbike race 1 : I came 18th with a time of 1'17" ...... 18th outta 21 i think ...

Supersport race 1 : I came 18th !! again ..... but with a best time of the day 1'16" so i was glad times were coming down ...... I know i can go faster yet so im hunting 14's

Superbike race 2 : Just about got lapped lol. I was one bike away from being lapped at least, i came in 19th with a time 1'18" so was abit disapointed about that, esp with the final f2 race being the last of a brilliant day.

Supersport race 2 : I had a blast in this race ... for me this was the race of the day and felt really good ... My starts were utter crap all day and this one it wasnt any better ... Finished 13th with a time of 1'17".

SO ............. Um yeah i think if i work on my starts and think about lines abit more i may get faster yet ... I feel i can go faster ... I did find i was catching people under brakes here and there and be right up them but just couldnt get good drive out.

    Plenty To Work On.

Good to see you there Dallas..

...and good to see you maning up for the F1 and F2 class especially after your great clubman's placings last year.
I completely believe you have the skills to drop into the 14's and better on the short track at Taupo, i was doing 17's in qualifying and broke into the 13's during the day, if i can you can so keep it up.

That's enough practice for you Mr I'm not jealous at all. Sitting inside with the curtains and windows closed is much more fun than getting sweaty inside dead cow at high speed.
Actually, I'm stoked you managed to get out there again man.

Hmmmm, so this is what PMS feels like! It fuggin' sucks to hear about all the folks rippin' it up and getting quicker while I'm confined to barracks. Aaaaaaargh, talk about frustrating!

I dont think thats tooo badish having not ridden ALL winter and having not done too many trackdays recently, but yeah i can go faster here and there i reckon so i think can only get better (heres hoping lol).

Awww i'd missed this till now ! Ya did well out there mate was good to watch !! Woulda much preferred being out there but hey, maybe after i cut some of that extra baggage off the tank !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
