I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people...I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.
Yep. See you all then. Lots of holiday traffic. Just watch out for day dreaming nut bars in holiday mode pulling out on us.
I'll be there too. About time I got in a thursday ride, they look a bit more interesting than the Avalon - Featherston Weds sessions.
Well, good to be part of it tonight...bloody had to take the night off work though lol....(seriously had booked the "long" weekend ages ago)...The moonshine road is interesting to say the least, and am so glad the only traffic was the white wagon....
Well, the cadillac diner gets my thumbs up, and am thinking next spring we should organise a ride that ends up there, maybe with both Kapiti and Hutt riders, and totally fill the place, and the street outside with bikes...sort of make it like the Ace Cafe of the Hutt, they definately seemed biker friendly there...seems to be a place that the Fonz would roll up to on his Triumph Trophy...
Oh, and the burgers were too much for this old boy

Second that - see if we can do a 'bike night'.....
I see your second and raise you one.... third it!!
I really enjoyed doing the Paekakariki Hill Road at night. Going north always seems a better ride than south for some reason.
That Moonshine Road was a tad narrow in places! I got the feeling it would be more entertaining going the other direction. Thanks to the numbnuts blocking the road with his car on one corner.... glad I was taking my time on the down-hill!
I agree about the cafe..... nice atmosphere and good food. Coffee was not hot enough, but hey, I am a coffee snob. Great company, cheers.
I agree with all of the above, it was a great way to start the long weeekend. Kudos to Cam for getting the 'Busa down Moonshine with an oily rear tyre - rather you than me!
Yeah I think they must have serviced the chain while cold. Lube everywhere! Didn't see it until I got to Coastlands. Was fine except for left handers.
I feel the need for an Easter Monday afternoon ride if anyone is around. Might do PK Hill, Grays Rd, Whitby Inlet, Haywards, coffee somewhere and back again to Kapiti.
Went to Whitemans Valley today. The Short Straw Cafe was great. Nice cake and coffee.
I could be a starter, not sure at this stage but will know for sure by tomorrrow morning.
Sweet. I will be free from 1pm... ish and will ride anyway. Weather is forecast to improve with the gusty winds reducing.
