    Question Clutch and Gearing

Ok. So just bought the new toy.. But for some reason it isnt going into Neutral.. I need to hold the clutch on for it to stay still.. I have gone through all the gearing and released the clutch but nothing seems to be Neutral.. Is there any way that i can get any more info on this as i am new into riding and not overly too sure..

'95 Bandit 250 just so you know..

I also changed all the way back down until it wont go down any further.. But it still seems to be first gear.. Anyone got any helpful tips/pointers/Help cos i dont know anything...

Neutral is between first and second gear.

Go all the way down to first and when you are sure it is there, just ease it up gently until it clicks and the neutral light comes on.

If its hard to find neutral give the throttle a blip as you shift the lever or you can select it while the bike is moving i.e just before you stop.
