I would do that if I had the money. It's a lot quicker than my CBR250.

Yeah that car was fun, I don't think I even got a photo of it. King Nissan straight swapped it for that 82 Wide track Bluebird that I had.

A 1977 Corvette... and a Mitsubishi Lancer GLXi and a Ford Laser for everyday use. I also currently have a Nissan Micra work car - totally gutless and has had a leak at some stage in its history so it smells like a stagnant pond!

Dirty old AU Falcon. Will tick over 550,000km next month. Ex wgtn cab. On its second g/box but original unopened engine. Best Falcons made in recent times, many taxi drivers in Aussie and here shed a tear when reflecting on their reliability. Free box of piss to anyone who can find a more reliable coon.

We have one as a work hack, done 330k. Second box too, but, that was the drivers fault [trans cooler line got ripped off and trans cooked itself etc]
A wrecker in Palmy [on the left coming in from ashurst] has an au ute, 650km, manual xr6, original motor, unopened. Sacks of crap to drive [the xr8 the boss has handles very well though]

I just have a V6 Accord now, comfort, options and all I've ever done to it is turn the key and put gas in.

My first car (bought end of 1972) was a '71 3.3 Victor, 16,000 on the clock and like brand new when I got it.

Did zillions of miles in it and (in it's day) it pulled like a school-boy.

Had two other after that, great cars for the time.

Traded my first one in on the 1955 Ford F100 I still have.

It was probably the same ute I saw on trademe around this time last year. Wanted about 6 grand for it, in Dannevirk or somewhere down there. When I went back on a few days later the listing was pulled.

Used to use her every day contracting, now retired to taking the dogs to the vets and grocery shopping. On my 5th second hand engine, one day I will drop a recon motor in there, but for $300 ish a throw for second hand engines, it never seemed worth the bother.
Got it down to a fine art now. Pick up new (second hand) engine on the back, drive in the garage, chain block it out of the tray, drive out and turn around, drive back in and pull out knackered motor, roll back and chainblock new (not so knackered) motor and roll forward and drop it in. Whole proceedure takes 4-5 hours and back on the road again.
Run 186, 202, 179, 149, 161 (Torana eng) and 179 with 161 head over the last 10 or so years
