what i do in these situations...
When i fnally make it home I take the missus to the bedroom and thank god im still alive.
I can understand people being angry. But in all honesty it's 99% of the time nothing personal, just bad driving.
I'd hate to know about the times I've pulled out in traffic or changed lane without ever realising someone was there.
this whole XXX tried to kill me the other day attitude is a weird one. Who in their right mind hops in/on a vehicle and deciedes 'today is the day i'm gunna end a life'
It's a game of survival the sooner you stop trusting other road users with your life and put that faith in your own hands the better things will be for you.
I prefer NOT to ride directly next to cars, some people shoulder check, others rely to much on their mirros showing them everything and others just don't bother. And cars have blind spots that bikes fit quite nicely into.
I'm either in front of a car or behind a car when in a two lane going the same direction situation. (staggered format ala group rides) It's served me well a few times now.
