Pulling the plug on the Trickle Down Theory

Bit lengthy but gives the right a good old slagging.

Still if ya listen carefully especially the bit about crime and social problems you can see that much applies to NZ.

Haven't heard the clip, on very limited bandwidth at the moment. But I thought "trickle down" was generally understood to be bullshit... or has that propaganda worked on the masses aswell.

The bank bailout in the States was a case of the biggest robbery of the masses in the history that I can see. It was such a big event it's even begun the collapse of the American FIAT currency system, golds coming back. It was done under the guise of being necessary to get a "trickle down". Wouldn't have bailing out the general public and collapsing the bankrupt corrupt banking systems have been the best way to help the people of the country? WTF.

Sorry I can't listen to it thanks to a restrictive IT system out here at work.

If you read John Ralston Saul's "Voltaire's Bastards: The Dictatorship of Reason in the West" he gives a similar (I think) account regards the US Defense Industry and the "trickle down theory". It's simply not sustainable and defies logic.....yet it continues. The book is blardy heavy going but you don't look at government, big business, or the media quite the same way afterwards.

The link is a 'critique' of Brian Griffith from Goldman Sachs

We have to tolerate the inequality as a way to achieve greater prosperity and opportunity for all.
