    6v regulator (wanted)

It appears the Might FA50 regulator, which I suspect was not so good 20 years ago, is fubared. There looks like a crack in the case, adn instead of the charging voltage of around 7.5V for a 6 V battery, it spikes up to 14-18V as revs increase.
Impedance is 1.5Mohm in one direction and 20 something in the other direction.
Anyone one have a spare, or other suggestions?
Looks like a square box, with a spade connector for one cable and the other cable has a washer that fits under the mounting bolt. My knowledge of electronics is zip, so making one as per the other threads is out.
