    Radiator repairs?

Dropped the DRZ again on the weekend except this time it actually broke something

The mount for the right hand cowl which attaches to the right hand radiator bent in slightly and has pushed one of the fins in and opened a small tear in the outside where the bracket is welded on.

I was thinking a decent welder (TIG) could just fill in this small tear and I could straighten out the bracket and fin with a pair of pliers.

Can anyone suggest a decent welder/radiator repair place on the shore?

Been pointed to a place on Khyber pass road but cant recall the name.

North Shore radiators on Barry's Pt rd. Had to get my triumph radiator repaired (similar kind of damage that you describe). I cant remember if that guy did it, or he sent me just a couple of shops down to some other engineer who could weld aluminium. Only cost me $20 to weld it back up.

Kumeu radiators in Weza lane, Kumeu.
The place looks a complete sh@t fight, but the work he does is awesome.
Rebuilt the RC30's racekit rads after the courier folks played footy with the box.
He also can scratch build one for you. He makes the rads for the Warbirds aircraft.

Ferrous? No it's off a motorbike. It isn't made of pigiron. This isn't a Hillman Hunter.
