    GSXR250R Slingshot Carb jets

    I am having a struggle with my bike..I bought it from a guy who thought that using your cordless drill to scour your jets out is a goog idea!!!
    I have brought new jets from japan replaced the carb gaskets also and im still having trouble idling when warm going around town, accelerating from standstill etc,,, my bike mechanic has tried everything and says he need to know the jet configuration for the mikuni unit can anyone help me at all... Cheers

    What exactly do you mean by jet configuration. I've got the same carbs - I'll pull them apart and have a looksie for you.
    I'm just putting mine back on the bike. If yours are on the bike do you think you could have a look to see where all the hoses go cos I'm a bit stumped putting mine on. Refer to my post last night with attached file.

    I need to know what number is written on the main jet the choke jet and the pilot jet. I will look into your problem this weekend...cheers

    suzuki dealer should be able to tell you what jets are supposed to be where. have you had a search for a workshop manual online? Could be worth a shot.

    If it's the RR Slingshot, you'll struggle to find any info online. I couldn't.
    I had heaps of problems with my carbs but after pissing around for ages I took the bike into Motomart in Lower Hutt. Shane (I think that was his name) got it running sweet as...I'd be giving them a call if I was you. I can't exactly remember but I don't think it cost that much either.
