    Eye eye eye...

Dammit – I’ve mentioned my health’s been a bit ‘patchy’ of late but this latest little whoopsy is just plain mental – I’m starting to feel victimised.

So anyway – I’d been generally feeling pretty shit hot actually. You know, turned the corner, feeling spring surging.. phoar!

Vicki had ‘the ladies’ coming over on Friday so I thought I’d be good and mow the lawns n tidy the place up Thursday night… So – home early, (had the regular dr appt) out with the blower, the whipper stripper and the mower. Sweat blood n tears and its all lookin smick. Just one little bit to do but Vickis left one of her ‘treasures’ in the way so I bend over to move it and the mower goes PHATANG and flicks a piece of dried up cat crap into my eye – I mean RIGHT in. Hurt like a cunt.

So – scratched eyeball. Holy hell does it bloody smart!! In the cold wind today it was like a red hot poker to the brain… GAH! If it does not come right, no riding for a bit....

    Ouch.

Watch our for infection mate. I don't need to tell you how bad it is for our types.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Was in this postition recently Paul and so I totally get where youa re coming from.

Think about getting it looked out. I had a 7mm scratch to my cornea from a flailing childs fingernail - was told if it gets infected OR there are teeny tiny bits of that crap in your eye it can mean big trouble.

I saw my optomotrist and got some antirobotic drops - cleared it up within a day to where I could stand to come out from under the bed covers into the light.

Heya Paul ... hope you start feeling better soon .. but I agree with Number One ... the eyes are too important to risk ... see an optom quickly so that it is properly checked out.
