    Ad-Aware for detecting spyware.

HijackThis is for showing you what is loading on startup and if anything is hooked into to Internet Explorer.

You have to decide if an item is good/bad/indifferent.

I install and use AVG/Adaware/HijackThis 4-5 times per day.

A good combination but I may also try SpyBot as well as there has been some weirdness going around in the last few days.

Been using AVG for a while now, had better results in detecting viruses using Norton.

Adaware is ok, but ended up replacing with 'The Cleaner' software, because of better results. Not sure if the support is as good thou.

Hijack - it allows the user to view all processes running, and gives the user a idea of what is safe, or possibly nasty.

    Works computers doesnt bother me
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
