Replaced some of the fuses, need to put bike back together and find the missing bolt to the gear lever. will come back with info once im done
hi guys, i found the points, they do not open or close when i roll the bike foward and back, so they must be replaced. is there a special tool/technique to get the cover off (bit that turns when you kick)?
You need a flywheel puller. Apparently using a gear puller can break the flywheel. Wish I had one to lend you, as I need one myself.
This guy seems to do it without a flywheel puller, just uses a rubber mallet.
Looks a bit dodgy, but I'll give it a go, won't be hitting it too hard though

awesome, i got the bolt off but i cant seem to get the whole thing off, maybe a few more whacks with the hammer
I've asked around and everyone I've talked says they'd never hit the flywheel on their bike with anything, but they've seen others do it.
I've managed to track down somewhere which sells flywheel pullers at a reasonable price (Scooterworld in Newton Road - $25), but just need to work out what size I need (may involve taking my motor in there).
You're welcome to borrow it when I get it it.
Well, ill try get if off. me and my dad are taking it down to the auto electrician on portage road, he might have the tool we need, if not then we may have to buy one, as we will probably use it more than once. thanks for the help
