You mean it starts?
So you have to kill teh engine with the kill switch?
on some cheaper bikes they just used the switch as a kill, so you could hotwire the bike by unplugging the ignition switch (course the lights didn't work). Japanese didn't understand that this would be an issue when the thieves found out.
Sounds like you have a broken wire or dirty contact that earths out the ign cct.
hmm, not sure if Honda did it this way on their 4 strokes. Dig up a wiring diagram on the net & have a look at the makes & breaks on the ign switch.
