    This part is more to the point...'Staff at the aquarium removed the babies from the tank - before they could be eaten'.


    The Shark was probably more interested in eating them rather than showing off its surgical skills to the viewing public.

    Yep, interesting that the Belfast article seems to report that it was done intentionally to get the babies out, whereas the article on Stuff says it was more likely a random attack which was just lucky that it didn't kill the other Shark or the babies.

    Also if fish are now called SeaKittens does that make Shark babies SeaCubs?
