If you havn't already go along to a local meeting and say hi, have a watch and see what seems to work well. People there will probably be able to help you with local knowledge such as bikes kinda for sale that aren't to be found on tardme.

Wait for the influx of big bored CBR125s and R125s. Might be a while before it becomes a truly economically viable option but will happen eventually.

The GP100 bike looks like it has a 125 engine. GP100 engines were painted black all over, 125's were unpainted with alloy (silver) painted side covers.

If its a 125 then a quick PM to TeeZee will get you some really easy and simple tuning info that makes 18+ RWHP, not much more than skimming the barrel and an RG250 pipe is required.

Or with a little more tuning, ex-porting and RM chamber you would have 20+ rwhp and you could thrash those pesky FXR's at Ruapuna.

Here is a GP125, has a black motor and closes Sunday http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=251401631

Black/Silver, now........ I am becoming unsure if its true, that all GP100 engines were black and 125's unpainted.

Wow I'm impressed with all of your options, cheers. Have looked at 4 of the bikes mentioned that are on Trademe but I spose I'm being a little fussy. Have my eye on an FXR that may need a bit of engine work so will see what happens. I like the machine you have a photo of Gav.

    You're dreaming
