Back up in Nelson around Christmas a few years ago, the Police were handing out chocolate to people who passed their breath testing stop and tickets to those who didn't.

I got the chocolate and it tasted yummy!

I've met plenty of good cops...not sticking to the letter of the law when I was going a little of over the speed limit and it didn't really matter (just straight up not dangerous)...just giving a warning and saying a warm goodbye...

I feel sorry for those decent minded, intelligent ones though...'cos the odd small minded, quota filling, psycho-eyed prick gives them a bad rep...and that's what everyone focuses on.

Personally I'll judge each one as they come...and be dirty at the world for a day when I meet a bad one, and when I meet another good one.

So not a lot of nice stories from people then?
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

    Motorbike only search
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - CRC AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE CRC. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Driving along the motorway on a Sunday, both the Bloody wof and rego had expired on the Thursday or somesuch and since I had had a busy week I hadn't renewed them.

Got a typical boyracer car (which is for sale by the way check my sig) and pretty soon was being followed by a white and blue.........

Get pulled up and he finds out that I don't have the wof/rego........ gives me 2 weeks to get it or else a $400 fine

Nice of him to let me go..............

Was riding along between Napier and Taupo, doing WELL over 100. Must have gone past a cop I didn't see, since I had the red&blue behind me shortly after my fastest "burst". Officer said "going a little fast there weren't you" so I said yeah, sorry about that. At this stage I was thinking I was walking home

Said he clocked me at 120km/h, so I said OH! Um, yeah thats whats I as doing...

I knew I was doing way more than that, and I'm sure he knew but we were both happy with a ticket for 120km/h.

    Everyday.... before i crashed it...

Its been 5 months since i have crashed it Now its ONLY just ready to be ridden again... Probably still wait till i get my full though... Riding a bigger bike for me is no problem, getting a fine for $400 is no problem (got one of those too)

The real killer is forking out nearly 5 grand to fix your 600... AND it isnt quite as pretty as it was, AND that was at discount rates AND ebay...

Ive done it the hard way.... i suggest:

learners/restricted + big bike = track only and wait for your full to ride it on the road....
See Robert Taylor for any Ohlins requirements www.northwest.co.nz
