    I did.
    About 7 years ago, I was a 40 a day smoker.
I quit when my first kid was born.
What do you want to know?

I been quitting for ages. The first time I quit I had a sneaky cig thinking it'll just be one. Of course Two years later still "quitting".
Hanging out with other smokers makes it hard too.
My employee smokes and it makes ciggies easy to get.
Of course the fear of the missus is helping to quit

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

its no big deal , my cravings havnt been hard to deal with, and now I'm off the patch, I can go through the day fine without pulling my hair out cause I need one.

Just been getting REALLY down on random shit..... apparently its normal,
thought I'd be feeling better not worse. :-(

I found that I felt like shit for awhile as well, and I was even more grumpy than normal.
It does pass, but not quickly.
I still get cravings especially if I smell someone smoking the same brand I smoked.

Allow yourself a fair while before things go back to normal......Stick with it, it's well worth seeing through.
Smoked all my life and gave up 10 years ago..
My bikes I paid for with my ashtray money......good motivator!

It is all in your head, you are only getting mood swings because you think you will.

Eat raw carrots, they are good for you and your mood swings will stop soon enough.

If all else fails: think of the money you are saving!

Oh and don't be surprised if you start to feel a bit out of breath, your lungs it is just your lungs re-adjusting.

I've been off for over 35 years now.

You are at the most difficult stage. The bit where you wonder if it is worth it.

Learn to breath (correctly) to reduce the stress.

    PM me if need be.
