ACC has been one of the only investments to have made shitoads profit over the last few years, in fact more than enough to pay for claims.
The issue is that the government has changed its function from compenstation to a private insurance model, so instead of having to (and being more than capable of ) covering cost for current claims they also have to be able to cover cost for future claims.
ACC are bening right cunts at the moment. The question is whether that is due to government direction/orders.
