hey,ive got a scraped up scorpion for trackdays and i wanted to cut it down to remove the worst of the damage, not sure of the exzact size but it will end up around 300-350mm long.
how will this affect the performance if at all?
thanks for any help.

It will make it a fair bit louder, though with the PAIR valve in place I'm not sure how much. Shorter exhausts tend to be better for high end power (from what I know) but the truth is you probably won't notice the difference as it's not like you're removing 1m from the total exhaust length.
Fuel injection is a wonderful thing, and I'm sure that the bike will be able to compensate pretty well for the change.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
ok...next question, what is the pourpose of the fiberglass packing inside it?
do you need it in there?
That's what helps keep it quiet. The short answer is no, but with noise level caps coming into place at most tracks you'll probably want it in there!
