Letter to Hone Harawira

That's a bit harsh. I am part maori and while I agree with the intent of your letter, I wouldn't suggest for a minute that that part of my family is "on the bottom of any heap". By all means - defend yourself, but try and keep it factual - your defence is as laughable as the Mr Harawira's claims are.

Can tend to agree with some thoughts,but there are idiots like Hone in all races,suss out the local place of work called parliament,how many perks are justified and how many are just that perks.

You're right - but I guess you've got to point some blame at the people who provide such "perks". Slightly off topic I know but Rodney Hide just got righfully slammed for taking his missus overseas - but at the end of the day there is a policy (aka perk) in place that allows this. Perhaps there should be a review of the perks/entitlements rather than those that use them.

Back on topic - Hone Harawira is just a farkin idiot.

I would vote for a European Party. Then when we win a seat(s) in Parliament, get all racially based parties disbanded so we have equality in government. The go on as all of us being "New Zealanders", not white, brown, yellow etc.... and all the arguments (claims) over land etc... would have to stop.... hopefully.

So there's some Maori peeps on here peed off as they say they are not the same as Hone H. Hmm well Europeans are not all white mofos either, so your anger matches Europeans at his racist angle. I feel that is the point of the anti Maori remarks here, to show displeasure. Some of them are fact though.

Hone does represent many Maori who voted for him, Im not saying all of you did, but getting rid of the Maori Party would redress the balance of the divide it brings to all of the NZ public and different races.
