    Riff Raff goes down......

    .....if I'm lucky.

Unfortunately, she wasn't. As she can't type very well right now, I'll recap the details in all their glory.

After splitting from the crew at Hamilhole, we headed north along the other side of the Waikato river. You eventually get to this stupid fuckin' single lane bridge with a traffic light. You wait for the little green light and progress across said bridge. On the other side, is a "Give Way" to State highway 1.

BE CAREFULL some arsehole has tipped a shitload of gravel all over the road. This is slippery as we both found.

Thank Christ Riff Raff fell off and not me. Luckily, it was fairly low speed and not much damage to the SV. My poor girl's got a buggered wrist and a sore back now though.

Other than that little excursion, what a Bluddy Che-oice ride back, great group to ride with. Thanks for that.

Riff Raff sez, big ups to Quasi and Paula, we didn't think you'd improve on last years event but you did. Cool stuff.

    I sez, Quasi, you're a homo.

ps: A MASSIVE thanks to Tracy for towing a busted SV and slightly busted R/Raff home and also to Firefight for the loan of the trailer for the weekend. We owe you guys a beer or ten.

It was a great weekend, thanks to all the people that made it happen. Quasi did an awesome job keeping everyone entertained and going in the right direction.

    Here are some picks.

    (WT, please dictate)
Oh man I'm so sorry to hear this Sue... Thank fuck you're ok tho, but that really sucks. Like I've just been posting in another thread, don't worry about the bike, replace all the broken bits and they CAN be like new
But, I KNOW how you must be feeling right about now

Take care of that wrist! Chin up!

Blame it on JustSomeGuy who started this whole 'Bin-on Anzac-Weekend' trend! Jk.

Sorry to hear you came off your pride & joy and are in a bit of pain Riff Raff. Hope you & SV get well soon!

Bugger about the spill Riff - hope your wrist heals quickly.

Our group got quite wet on the way home as well, (Ohakune, Waiouru then SH1) but it got so windy I was dry within 20 minutes, but still cold for the rest of the trip.

Thanks Quasi and fembots for a great night. Who would have thought, 1300 Quasi dollars for a can of chain lube.

I thought it was based on the theory of objects of relatively large mass having their own gravitational pull.

Oh and BTW I get the prize for the largest individual bar tab, as confirmed by Bruce at Piper's lodge. Woohoo. Prize is one sore head.

awesome rally again. Big thanks to Quasi and the famous fembots!
Love those roads even in the wet. Oh and I told velox that I wouldnt mention her comment before the auction as we discussed what was been sold at the auction. WT apparently was going to be sold to which velox replied without a moments hesitation "no way! I want to bid on somethig usefull".
(disclaimer=may not be verbatim but i had been drinking)

Thanks to Quasi Paula Julie and everyone else that had anything else to do with organising this.

Got pretty inebriated by the tail end of the evening. Only thing that I can complain about is the weather when we got up for the ride home. Got home at midday yesterday and slept till 8.30 today. 20 hours sleep

Great meeting so many KB people. Great range of ages and bikes.

Sorry to here about Sues encounter with the loose stuff.
