They were annoying weren't they... The more analytical of us put the bottom of the curtain outside the shower base which helped. Probably put a heap of water on the floor though

How did you manage to get back to Welly without getting frostbite? You might get a surprise birthday present from me if you don't do anything on that front...

I'm pleased you said that, because thats exactly what I did! (Shower curtain OUT the shower). However, , it just got sucked back in again! Either my shower was too hot, or as Swanman (notice italics, they denote a VERY sarcastic tone) suggested, my gravitational pull had summat to do wif it

And no worries, I plan on getting some cordura soon, and a 2-piece suit as soon as I can stop eating crap

I didn't get back (without frostbite). When I got to Bulls, I couldn't feel my feet or fingers, literally. Both were wet, gloves aren't waterproof and my boot has a hole in the sole (Aerosmith style). But, after leaving Bulls, the temperature increased and the wind dried everything out. By the time we reached levin, I was considering practicing my wheelies again

Well he gave such a damn fright I decided to leave the group and headed home by myself. After nearly losing the bike in the gravel on Saturday I was more than cautious at the first lot we hit heading home....this blasted van went flying past hurling gravel back into me - yep a KBer. Didnt see him coming.

The ride down was excellent and I wasnt coming in last at all the stops for a change The weather was no biggie as we are used to rain, hail and thunder storms on KB rides anyways.

THANKS A MILLION (yet again) Quasi, Paula and the fembots (maybe one of you will ride next time). An awesome venue and an excellent host. I will recommend the place for sure. Having set out from home at 6.30am I gave up and headed for a sleep about 11.30 which wasnt a bad thing as no hangover.

Cool to meet some new people and catch up with the more familiar faces. Sorry to hear about Riffs little spill. Get well soon!

Sorry to hear about your off and I hope you're not too sore today!?

I managed to break my scaphoid twice when I was a tad younger than today - and I was also told off by the doctors for wrecking the cast around my thumb by riding my bicycle after the initial pain had gone! I wouldn't recommend trying that with the SV!

And I was thrilled with the 8 packs of AA batteries I got for 1100 Quasi buckaroonies - they will come in handy for keeping me amused during my time off work

now fella, you don't need to trim back just to get a 2 piece bikini - why wait I say, especially with this good patch of weather coming through. It's kinda the in thing these days to have a bit of muffin overflow coming over the g-string bikini bottoms....

Perhaps it was your brutally raw, yet honest adaptation of a Massey Ferguson

here are a couple of pics...

    1. I wonder which Suzuki rider took his revenge on the 636 brigade?

    2. Latest accessory for the image conscious rider (altho why you'd have to look at your crotch while riding is beyond me)!

Just had a call from White Trash who's riding back to Welly. It's snowing at National Park today!!!!! Now that would have been a fun ride for him on those race slicks!

HEYYYY, I know for a FACT, that there were at least 3 of us snoring, out of 4 in the room... (assuming that I do snore, which I personally believe to be a vicious lie)
